The last sea glassing day in 2014

Although the situation in France is continuing to be very dangerous today I want to talk about something else.
These are photos we took on Boxing Day (26th December) at our beach at the beach house. It was a glorious sunny day but cold. The tide was low and there was lots of sea glass.
I'd like to dedicate this blogpost to Linda Greim Dunn, a sea glass friend who died a couple of days ago in the States. Linda and I had been friends in the sea glass sites and on facebook. We had never met but she very much wanted to meet me while on my trip to the States and we had arranged to meet one day on Spectacle Island. For reasons that are beyond my understanding we never managed to meet although we were at the same place on the same day and time. How strange this is! I regret that we didn't manage to meet and am so sorry she passed away so suddenly so young. My condolences to her family and friends.
Hubby moving away to find Barca.
I am always looking down to the sea treasures.

I even found a tiny blue.

 And some very big pieces.
 And a grey piece.

And something that looks like yellow.

 And something with a pattern.
 And another blue.

Barca thought it was summer time!

And the goodbye kiss (the last piece I found I thought it was a stone!)
 But no it is not!
 And some videos!

RIP Linda!

Η Θάλασσα σου έκανε πολλά Χριστουγεννιάτικα δώρα! Τις ευχές μου για καλή δύναμη στην οικογένεια της διαδικτυακής σου φίλης.

There are sea glass sites? I had no idea.
Lovely finds, some of my favourite ones are the ones I thought were stones until I held them up to the light
