Sometimes I cook

Jello with lightly cooked in sugar fruit! It was too sweet but delicious!

Adding sprinkles on a hot chocolate on a hailstorm day!
Cheesecake for my 19-year-old son's birthday!
Mousaka is my son's favourite dish!
Cool summer salad for me all green. Cucumber, raw zucchini, green pepper, dill, apple, lemon and olive oil.Whatever green was in the fridge or at the pots of plants!
I am on a self imposed diet. I am trying to eat only raw salads and very little cooked food. I need to lose a couple of kilos before my trip!Lots of veggies and fruit!

Romania Day 4 Mogosoaia Palace

After the guided tour to the Palace of the Parliament the bus took us 13 km away from Bucharest to Mogosoaia Palace, a beautiful small palace that houses exceptional furniture and pieces of art and is surrounded by a gorgeous garden and lake.

Then we arranged to meet my cousins Kalliope and Sorin at their beautiful attic office over the VanGogh cafe.

They took us for a lovely traditional meal to an inn-restaurant.

The rest of the day comes in a final blogpost.

Epiphany Day.

One day the weather is fantastic like on Thursday when we went for coffee with our friends and the next day it is windy, rainy and cold and you have to stay inside.
One good thing was that we had invited my brother's family for lunch so we didn't have to go out.
I spent the morning cooking and we had fun around the table and afterwards trying to take a family picture to send to relatives and friends abroad.
Setting the table....
Mum's rice, various cheeses and ham, green salad, three coloured salad, beef stroganoff, cheese salad with olives, mum's stuffed vine leaves...and not in the photo rabbit stew....
Desserts.....various chocolate from around the world.......
 Chocolate mousse and strawberry jello....
Vasilopita(New Year's pie) made by my best friend Gia....and Maija watching!
My niece can make you say cheese in seconds but you can't stop laughing afterwards!
