More gifts

I am sorry I am not taking time to blog but it seems time is not enough!
This weekend I have rehearsals for hours and a memorial service, and to start doing my taxes and finish some spring cleaning so I am just adding a draft blogpost I had for some time. Some more gifts I had received on my birthday.
My jewelry course teacher Irene knitted this scarf with the amazing crochet details and even decoupaged the gift box. She is amazingly talented!
Then another friend from the Drama club gave me some things to use on my jewlery course and in my crafts. Unfortunately I haven't used them yet but they are lovely!

Finally a lovely birthday card and gift from dear Sigrid in Austria. This little bag is made totally out of a zip!Smart!

I am adding new felted stones on my shop almost every day and also changed a bit the prices as I always get mixed up with the euro and the dollar so they are cheaper now for my friends in the States and elsewhere.

Birthday gifts!

Thank you so much all of those who commented on my previous post. It is great feeling that some people out there really understand you! It is also great to have new commenters. I try to answer my comments personally but some of you have no e-mail on your blogger page so I cannot do that!
Anyway as I promised in my previous post here are a couple of gifts I recently received for my birthday!
From my dear Marabeth in the States this lovely red sea glass pendant made by Deb Lowther.
You might not be able to see it but this is probably from a bike tail light or something! I love it!
Here is the total contents of one more lovely parcel from Marabeth! I loved the card especially the part that talks about fullfilling dreams!LOL!

And this strawberry sweet parcel is from my pen friend Sigrid from Austria.
I found this beautifully smelling mouse inside and wondered what it is. Well it is a handmade hot/cold water "bottle". It is filled with wheat and lavender and can be cooked for 5 minutes or cooled for a while and put around a painful spot of your body! I really appreciate that as the awful weather we have been having causes quite  a lot of pain on my shoulders! Ich danke Ihnen!

Gifts for Christmas...(3)

My dear friend Sigrid from Austria made me this lovely loop scarf! I wear it every day, it is so warm and comfortable! Thank you!

I saw a great post in Tiny Happy Melissa's blog just in the holidays so following it I made these little paper ornaments. They are great to recycle wrapping paper with them.

Another gift,another trip.

Another gift that arrived on St. Valentine's day again for my birthday was from my dear life long pen friend from Austria, Sigrid. We had met once for a while years ago and again last summer when we were invited by dear Sigrid and her family to spend a week in Austria. We had a great time and visited some lovely places. So here is a short tour of Austria as we saw it. Hopefully we will meet again soon.
I think one of the most difficult things to take a photo of is a Swarowski crystal!Isn't it sweet?I loved it!
And here are some photos from Austria.
The forest near Sigrid's house in Linz.
 Linz on the Danube.
At Hellbrunn Palace with the amazingly entertaining fountains. My son got soaked there.
 Hellbrunn gardens were really beautiful.
My son looking away at Mondsee.
Sigrid and I at Mondsee. Our colours are matching the gorgeous colourful buildings behind us.
 At Sankt Gilgen park.
At Schafberg we went up with the train and saw Wolfgangsee under us. The smell of the wildflowers and the view were awesome
 The Linz Cathedral.
 Schloss Schonbrunn,Sissy's Palace.
The flamingoes in the Vienna Zoo.
 The hippos in the Zoo.
The Natural History Museum in Wien which was very interesting.
