That's a beautiful colour but where can I take a pic of something of that colour?
I have some lavender in a pot in my balcony. It smells lovely! At least I can post a pic of that!
Today I got some lovely mail but along with everything else that has been delayed in my blog lately the photos of what the mail brought will be delayed as well.
Here is a pic of all the mail I have to answer ... at some point!
I am happy I have patient friends!
At least one by one some of my mail is received like the giveaway prize of my blog was received by Francoise who took some lovely photos.
Yesterday evening Frieda, hubbie and I went to the theatre. We wattched "Yparhei kai filotimo" or "Crash Landing" by Alekos Sakellarios and Christos Giannakopoulos at the National Theatre of Northern Greece,a good old Greek theatrical play that laughs at politicians. It was good and we had some good laughs!

I can't resist another pink post.
I want to add some more pink things!
A bag I had ordered from peskycatdesigns and arrived a couple of days ago. I am matching it with a pair of lovely spring shoes. The bag is absolutely gorgeous and it was on sale!
And here is my pink bedroom wall with all of Geninne Zlatkis' prints at last framed on it.

Poppytalk Spring Colour Week-Yellow.
Yesterday Frieda and I spent about 5 hours at IKEA. She had to buy some things for her son and I really wanted some frames to frame some prints.Unfortunately none of the sizes fitted my prints so again I will have to go to my framer. We really enjoyed the time together and doing shopping together and we also had some coffee and sweets!I forgot to take photos!
Here are my photos for the Poppytalk week. The colour is yellow.
The yellow lichen on the White Tower.
Yellow flower and bee.
Grass and yellow flowers.
My friend Ian's flea market find,a precious yellow stopper.
A yellow ladder to ...a sea find.
This afternoon I spent three great hours at an environmental exhibition and an insect exhibition!Photos and more about these at the next blog posts.

A day with Frieda.
As yesterday Frieda was busy attending the TEDx conference we had arranged to meet today. So we met in the morning and since it was a glorious sunny day we walked at the sea front. Here we are in front of Alexander the Great statue.
We decided (well I decided and she was kind to follow) to go and visit the Glass World exhibition at the Thessaloniki Archaeological Museum which I had seen some months ago but loved seeing once again. Some of the old glass vessels found inside ancient Greek tombs in Macedonia and Thrace were amazingly well preserved and restored.(I will make another blog post with photos from the exhibition as there are many.)
Andrei Filippov's huge "Saw".It is coming from the underworld. It is outside the museum opposite the Communication Tower(or O.T.E. Tower).
We then had some coffee opposite the White Tower and then lunch at Olga, the neighbourhood restaurant where we frequent as it has good homemade food.
Two happy colourful girls outside the White Tower.
Shall we buy some wire sculpture art?
Then in the afternoon Frieda came at my home and we enjoyed chatting, had some coffee and she showed me my first steps to crochet! I admit I found it difficult!Maybe I should stick to my cross stitch!
Of course Frieda was very kind to bring me some gifts.A pair of lovely tiny porcelain clogs(Dutch shoes).Frieda is Dutch and has been living in Greece for many years now.She was recently in her hometown in the Netherlands. The sea glass is from her beach on Skiathos island. She also made me a tote bag for my shopping!

First of April fun.
The 1st of April was no joke.I was tired at school but my students made me smile when they showed me that they had gathered some little friends from the garden after the rain and kept them in class.
We had drama club rehearsal in the evening and afterwards we went to Vardia,a night club, all together to listen to one of our member's son playing the guitar and singing for the first time on a pro level. It was a very good performance and it was made even better because my sea glass friend Frieda from Skiathos joined us.
She is in Thessaloniki to see her son who is studying here and to attend a conference.
