A day at the beach!

From time to time we visit the beach house to see if everything is ok and to enjoy the sun, the sea, the empty beach, to collect some sea glass and in general to enjoy ourselves.
So this Sunday we did just that!
Everything was beautiful!
The flowers....

 ...the bushes.....

...the sea....I was almost tempted to swim but I've got a cold still so just dropped the idea but there were still tourists around swimming!
Instead I collected some sea glass as it was low tide too...

In the end we went to drink some tsipouro (it is good for colds)and taste some appetisers like grilled octopus in the nearby village.
Cats were everywhere around us asking for food.
Some were lingering on the awning of the restaurant and one of the kittens suddenly fell down. But well they say they can live seven lives so it didn't get hurt!
And here are some pomegranates we collected. The ones from our tree (what's left of them!) were huge but rather bitten but very sweet. The two that look better are from the neighbour's tree!
Note to oneself: next year go a week or two earlier to collect them!

Pomegranate for prosperity

Well let's wish things will get better in this country.
We have a new government and the new Prime Minister is supposedly accepted by the Europeans. He is a banker, a financial specialist, so he is supposed to know what to do and how to deal with all the economic problems of this country. We will see!
The thing is that only three parties are taking part in his government, the socialists, the right wing and the extreme right wing. So what will be the result? Will the aristocrats and the rich  become richer and the poor poorer according to all the left parties that decided to stay out of this new government?
Again we will see!
I am hoping for prosperity for all of us.
