Last Saturday there was one more
In my Closet workshop.
This first of the season workshop (we count after summer) was organized again exceptionally well by Anna who knows how to organize our big group in her hospitable cozy kitchen.
This time we also admired Anna's new craft room which she beautifully describes in her blogpost
here.
The aim of this workshop was to make stuffed owls for
Antonopouleio Foundation, an idea brought by Rena Christodulou of
Diaheiros
We worked hard and thanks to the sewing machine skills and assistance of Rena and Aggeliki of
Pocolocini we managed each to finish our own owl. Here's the whole lot together, ready to fly! Aren't they gorgeous?
We even gave them names. Here's my Themistocles the Eagle Owl.
These will be sent to Patras for the afore mentioned foundation to be sold for their needs.
Of course we ate a lot as usual.
Here's what I made. Mini sausage corn muffins.
And I had a surprise too. One of the members of the group, a former student of mine, brought me a lovely wedding gift. this amazing mirror!
I love my talented students!!!!!Thank you Sophia!
