We are for a short break in the city because of a wedding and some medical tests.
The heat wave that is hitting the area in unbearable.
So I prefer thinking of how it was at the beach house during July....only the good parts......
Nature,flowers and insects...
My dad's/brother's flower that bloomed for the first time....
Fields covered in sun flowers.....
....dogs happy together....
(that make neighbours unhappy and angry unfortunately)
...happy dogs even in cars......
...even at sea....
...and alone too...
...amazing sunsets....
....lots of reading....
...a day trip to Thessaloniki to meet my Hungarian pen pal Andrea again like last year,
savouring Greek food,
and exchanging gifts.....
...spending time with hobbies....
...collecting sea glass...
...enjoying the sea....
...underwater too...
...cooking....
...a day trip to Neos Marmaras savouring homemade ice cream and Italian pizza at
Flavours' House, an old student's cafe.
Don't miss to try Grandma's biscuit there if you are in the area.
...catching crabs....taking a photo of them and letting them back to sea....
...enjoying visits from friends and their gifts...
...dyeing my hair at a lighter colour at last....
...and going to a wedding....proud with my son and happy with the family of my ex husband....
Life is good inspite the problems.Have positive thoughts for Greece and for me.
