At the flea market and a bazaar.

Last Sunday I paid a quick visit at the open flea market which started again for this year and will hopefully be on a regular basis from now on.
I walked to the YMCA yard and walked around the small kiosks all by myself. As it was cold and most people were there in the morning just after the Alexander Marathon at the time I went almost no one was there.

See how bad the weather was? Rainy and cold and windy.

But as always I loved looking at little colourful pictures around me like this group of kids all wearing the same lovely raincoat.
And I couldn't leave empty handed from the flea market so I bought this lovely dark red vase with Venus painted on it and it says it is a souvenir from Rhodes island.
I only went to one Easter charity bazaar this year. The Melissa Orphanage organized it. Every year I find lovely things there and very cheap.
Some knitted birds and some porcelain ornaments along with a lovely bracelet and a fridge magnet.
 Some clothes...
...and a pair of Vans shoes for 2 euros! I would call that a bargain!
So everyone hope you enjoy a great Easter Sunday tomorrow!

Fashion Friday

I don't normally do that as I am not a type for fashion. I wear whatever I have in my closet and go shopping for clothes, well, never!Just buy things at random and usually cheap.
But there is this lovely blue painted wall outside the new Municipality Hall of our city and whenever I walk past it I have a picture of me taken. It has become a habit, or should I say custom? There is a bustop opposite the building and people smile when they see me do that, pose like a model!LOL!
Both photos were taken in November when it was still warm and sunny.
Blue striped shirt, blue jacket(both from my wardrobe),blue-yellow-grey thin coat(bought at a neighbourhood seamstress lab at 40 euros), jeans,my old grey boots from VoiNoi(there's a shop in the neighbourhood), Marimekko bag, a gift from Finland, from dear Johanna some time ago.Pendant, a gift from my Drama club friends.
Vogue sunglasses( I have them for years!),brown and pink scarf(gift from my niece),turquoise sweater(gift of old pupils' mums),jeans, brown leather boots(bought at 25 euros from the Saturday flea market at Martiou Street years ago, excellent price, excellent quality),brown jacket(bought from an Evosmos shop after a drama club performance last winter 2011 at the sales 25 euros), bag by Dutch Sisters on etsy.
