A good year.

It was a good day today but I will blog about it tomorrow. I will only talk about the movie I watched on TV tonight sipping a light blue drink(Smirnoff North) and eating peanuts.
It was A good year with Russell Crowe and Marion Cotillard and directed by Ridley Scott.
I had not seen this movie before and it was taking place in France. I love the way American movies show the countryside in France, the colours, the sunshine, the atmosphere. It was the story about a stoke broker from England who inherits a villa and vineyards in France and how he moves there to check it out.And he falls in love with a beautiful French woman(of course!). I love this type of happy end romantic films!
And I close with my heart shaped sea glass!

I prefer Ridley Scott's "Thelma and Louise" and Peter Mayle's books are better than this screenplay. I'm glad you called it an American film! (I would call it a film paid for by an Australian, who owns the American studio, and starring a New Zealander with Australian and British supporting actors, made by British producer, and based on a book by a British author, but that is a bit of a mouthful).
