Leonardo.

On Friday 6th May I went to an exhibition of Leonardo DaVinci's designs and sketches. What a genious this man was! He invented bridges, machines and other things long before others. He was far ahead for his era in anatomy, architecture, maths and geometry, flying machines, chronometry, military engineering and building.
The exhibition is in a building complex called Mill in my city. I also went to Donopoulos International Fine Art Gallery that is in the same area and had modern works of art with the theme Animal.
Here are a couple of photos.

I loved those wolves they reminded me of the forests in Finland.

Hubbie also went to the same exhibition on a different day with his school and brought me these from the souvenir shop.
One of the four copies of the DaVinci codes that was duplicated by hand and belongs to Bill gates.

Good afternoon!! I LOVE Leonardo - he is one of my favorite artists. So glad you got to see the exhibit - looks like a wonderful visit. :)

There was an exhibition of some of his drawings in my nearest museum in Exeter a few years ago. The detail and beauty was incredible. He could write really small too; so minuscule writing. I am so fortunate to have seen it.
