To catch a glimpse of the parade!

Something out of the ordinary brought us back in the city and changed our plans for the long weekend so today we went to watch the parade.
The weather was dull and foggy and due to the unbelievable safety measures again we were obliged to walk all along the major avenue where the parade takes place in order to find a small space to watch it.
We didn't manage to!We simply had to stand behind a human wall as all people were trying to find a small space to stand too.
So the VIPs watched the parade all by themselves and the common people like us crowded in certain spaces.
Due to the generous gesture of a very wealthy man this year the parade had fuel for all its mobile and flying accessories!
I wish the aforementioned man gave all that petrol to poor families that have no means to warm their households this winter instead of financing and moving vehicles and aircraft.
 Trying to focus!
See how the opposite side of the street is empty?Safety measures!
Can you see the parade?I can't!

All kinds of people are seen at parades! His misses his kings!
Waiting to take part?Or probably broken down.
Macedonia Palace Hotel had lots of visitors watching the parade from its balconies!
 Human Wall!
 Scouts!

 First Aid!
The wall opposite is part of a new park!It has caused controversy on wether it should be there or not!Well, it found a use!

Barca tired sitting on my foot!

And out of the fog comes a helicopter!
Only the flags and the crosses shine at the very little sunshine!
Because of the fog too few jet flights took place.Good!

Parks filled with people trying to catch a glimpse of the parade!

Little boy in traditional tsolias costume!

 Another tired puppy!
Only if you could manage to climb up a tree would you be able to get a good sight of the parade!

The end. People entering and walking behind the parade trying to find a place to have coffee! The sun started shining!
