Well yes I went to the bin and took them. I am not sure what I will be doing with them.
This is how they looked at first.
And that's after I dusted them and corrected some torn parts. It was the time that I realised I should have taken some more before the rubbish truck took the rest.
The four seasons. An amazing map in its detail.

The world of the sea (I think I will put that in my summer house wall).

I have also taken a world map.

Good for wrapping presents!
Too thick cloth paper for that! But I have used some smaller paper ones for that.
There is a saying here "one mans trash is another mans treasure" it is so true.
Fantastic that you saved them from the trash bin. A lot of the images are very interesting. The fish in your beach home will be perfect. :)
Oh I would love to see what you finally make out of these! I keep 'rescuing' things too, but unfortunately, I don't often see it through to the end.
I love your blog, by the way. Glad I stumbled upon it. Greetings from India!
Thank you for your comments! I can't believe there is someone reading me in India!
Can you use the seasonal one in your classroom? It's so colorfful with many details. What a shame that we humans so readily toss things out when there are peoples/communities that have so little and would surely welcome them. I saw this done in my school too.....books, computers, chairs, desks, moutains on unused packages of handwriting paper that was considered passe, etc.....such a waste!
oh wow
what a waste to throw these away !
good for you for saving them
even if you don't find use right now
you might have the perfect idea soon !
xoxo
