Easter 2013

As I said in my previous blogpost it was a great quiet Easter at the beach house.
On Easter Sunday my brother's family visited so we barbequed kokoretsi and lamb ribs.

 And the Easter Sunday table was rich. Fortunately my sister-in-law brought well dyed eggs as mine were a disaster.And the blue pottery jug with the tiny mugs (from Romania-I was there last year) contains ouzo which me and my sister really enjoyed.

 While men barbequed....

 Vicky, my niece, walked Barca around.....

 and then we sat at the table....

 A walk at the beach after dinner is compulsory..... and although it looked inviting the water was too cold for me....

 Someone else was really eager to go to the beach....

 Barca of course....

....and after exploring a lot.....

 ....she jumped in the cold water....

 We admired the flowers.....and insects(see previous post)

 We collected sea glass....this pink was a special piece....

 

And of course we had plenty of food left over for the next day too!

 For all of us.....(the red sauce in the plate is Ajvar from Belgrade,it is red pepper and aubergine sauce, and of course dolmadakia, my mum's stuffed vine leaves)

 Someone special got really tired in the end....

And called it a night ......
