After Maynard's Greenhouse we moved to The Trove, an antique store.
I really saw very beautiful things there but I couldn't buy anything as everything was fragile, heavy or big! What a pity!
This is a children's metal tea set. Gorgeous!
Carnival glass and depression glass.
Greek antique dishes! I should have brought them home!
A white soup bowl like the one I have. And those little commemorative dishes that I saw in many antique stores, loved, but didn't want to start a new collection with.
I adored this one!
No, thank you!
Look at the wolf back there! And look at that tray on the floor. I recently found something like that on the curb but guess who didn't allow me to take it!Cry!
Loved that painting!
Eye candy all those glass cupboards filled with amazing glassware!
Shocked to see the same little Murano handkerchief bowl that I have! I am glad I saw it cost here much more than the bargain price I got in Greece a couple of years ago! Still it's lovely!
Murano fish, gorgeous!
There were some art pieces by a lady but I forgot to ask more about them.
You can find The Trove on facebook here and on their page here too. It's really worthwhile visiting this place!

Ooohhh, I love antique shops! I would have gone crazy and bought a bunch of things I didn't need :D
This looks like a wonderful, wonderful store! I think I could get lost in there for hours! I don't need to buy anything else, but I always want to look, and then I do buy more anyway! HAHAHAHA
I live in Mississippi, far away from this place, but there are many stores like this all over the country! You can definitely spend too much time and money there! Fun, fun!
Thank you for sharing this!
So full of lovely treasures! It must have been so difficult to not purchase some :)
that place was surely packed with gorgeous things!
I love the Greek dishes too, and several other things - but the stuffed animals? ARGH! I would be running out of there in no time!!

Happy New Year, Ariadne!
North America is filled with the cutest antique stores, and when I visit my hometown of Toronto, Canada, and its surrounding villages, I am always tempted to purchase little trinkets that I can carry back to Crete.
Thanks for sharing your visit to such a place!
