The TROIKA ( European Comission, European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund )orders and the Greek Government obeys.
"We need 3000 fewer civil servants" they ordered.
"Let's close down the Greek Television and Radio" they said. And it was done. On the spot.
Here are its last minutes.
Here is the reaction of the people in my city. During the night yesterday under pouring rain.
And today again under pouring rain.
And as people attend various artists who joined the peaceful demonstration "Kemal" is being heard, a song that recently caused controversy in the school community of our city!
What next?Let's close down hospitals and schools and everything?
Let's leave people in poverty, hunger, cold, sickness, illiteracy?
Till the last Greek drops down and they win?
Please share this. We don't know how long the Internet will be provided.

Yes, Ariadne, you are right! I was shocked when I heard this, I said OMG!!! Poor folks! How can a democratic country not have a public TV or radio station???
They say it's temporary, but still how many are they going to take back? How many are going to be out of a job?
I feel sad for Greece, and you, and other friends I have there!
it is tragic when the public broadcaster is lost because then some of the identity of it's people is lost too.
Dear Ariadne,
I am sending all good thoughts, wishes and prayers for you!!
And for your country! This is so hard to see and comprehend! 8*(
