Flowers

Everytime I sit down to write my blogpost I am trying to think of something good to say and not concentrate on the bad things happening around.
So I will not concentrate on my bad cold which persists but I still go to school.
I will not concentrate on the fact that all of a sudden today a University teacher, responsible for the students who are doing their practise with me came to school and attended my class with no warning and afterwards commented on my teaching as if I am the one who is doing the practise!!!!!!!I was too sick to argue with her though!
I will not concentrate on the electricity bill of the beach house that arrived today and for only 7 euros of electricity consumption I will pay 101 euro as extra taxes!!!!!!!!
I will not concentrate on the fact that the Prime Minister resigned and we are heading for a new government  to "save" Greece!
I will only concentrate on some photos I took at the open market last Monday(it is every Monday but today I wasn't in the mood for photos!) of the lovely flowers they are selling. I could not resist and bought another chrysanthemum and some parsley to have in a pot. That way I will have parsley for salad or cooking without having to buy a bunch every week for 50 cents.

Hope your ill health becomes rude health soon. Despite the economic woes, where would you live, where could you live, with so much natural vitality around you?

It's not your fault, I hope you realise that. (Although some people think that pensions in Greece start at 53 if you are in a dangerous profession like hairdressing).

Keep your head up, your spirits high, and your hope and faith, dear friend. Praying for you and sending big hugs your way...

How nice to see all the colors of your flowers just when all our colors have faded or blown away in the winds. It is soon to be twig season, as my daughter used to say. I know it is difficult to keep a positive attitude when all around seems to be in despair and disrepair.
So I leave you with this quote:

"Nature always wears the colors of the spirit."
-- RALPH WALDO EMERSON

Continue to surround yourself in color whether it be in the clothes you wear or the cross stitch you create or the beautiful colors in your photography.
