Hello everyone! In love or not in love today is Saint Valentine's Day worldwide and I hope you are celebrating!
Because one does not have to be only in love, one can simply love and share the love and love should always be celebrated in some way or another.
So today I am taking part in Jo's of Serendipitous Stitching Secret Stitching Sweetheart blog hop.
Jo asked us to send her a photo of one of our stitched pieces with a theme of love, heart, Valentine, etc. Something appropriate for Saint Valentine's Day.
Then she matched us with someone else and we all have to blog about it.
So here is the photo I received.
I don't know who it is from. I will wait for a comment by that person to let me know.
It is a lovely stitched piece and in my favourite colour purple. All full of delicate detail.
Thank you my dear unknown friend.
When this is over I will edit the blog post and add the name of the sender as well as the photo of my own stitched piece too and who received it.
You can see all the blogs who took part in this here.
Thank you Jo for this lovely blog hop once again!
Edit: The stitcher of this lovely piece is Katie of Jeremiah's mom blog. Thank you so much Katie.
The person who received my Valentine's card was Leslie of the blog A snapshot of my life
And this is the card I sent her.

Happy love day to you!! A sweet stitched piece indeed, what a lovely idea this blog hop of secret love senders! xx
That's a pretty one
Happy Valentine's Day, Ariadne! What a lovely piece you were given to share! No, I'm not your secret sweetheart, but I've enjoy visiting your blog...and now I'm wanting to visit the places you've pictured here! The stitching on your Thea Gouverneur's piece is lovely, I'll be cheering you on as you work on finishing it this year!
Sweet stitch, love it in purple! The fabric is great with it.
Happy ❤ Day to all!
Happy Valentine's Day! That is a pretty stitch from your secret Valentine.
Happy Valentine's day! Such sweet stitching....my favourite colour too :)
Well I'm hopping along to find my piece and guess what...I found it.
I really enjoyed stitching this up. It's a freebie available here...

I used a little piece of fabric I had in my stash called Pink Waterfall. It's a 32ct luguana evenweave. The thread is from Gentle Art Sampler Thread called Hyacinth. I was hoping to turn it into a decorative pillow but my sewing machine decided it didn't want to join in evidently so it will have to wait until we are getting along better. The fabric in the background will be the fabric I use to finish it
Happy Valentine's Day!!
My favourite colour too,a lovely piece. Not mine either though:)
Thanks for taking part in the Valentine Hop this year. I'm glad your sweetheart has found you!
I love the colours in this one.
Visiting you with the Blog Hop, this purple is perfect (too much red and rose!). Lovely stitching from Katie. xxx
I love purple, too, Ariadne, and Katie has done such a lovely job of this design for you. Happy Valentine's Day.

Very sweet!
I used to cross-stitch a lot but there just isn't enough space to store them, and my eyes are getting bad for job like this!
