Our trip to the U.S.A (5)- Newport Cliff Walk

July 2nd 2014
We started early after a good coffee heading for Newport, Rhode Island.
First we stopped at a scenic view stop over Mystic River.

We definitely needed a selfie!
Look at that bridge!
 And that!
When we arrived in Newport first we walked a bit on the Cliff Walk.
It was great. The day was gorgeous! The famous Newport mansions and all the other buildings were very inviting!
Ochre Court, Salve Regina University

 The Breakers, a Vanderbilt mansion.
 Nature was very beautiful too!

The cliffs looked dangerous but beautiful!

The walk on the cliff pathway was very easy...

...until we reached this beach....
Of course we had to go to see if there was any sea glass!
There was very little but it was nice looking there too! Mainly it was weeds.
Of course hubby found the best piece,
that big green one.
But we were in a hurry as we had an important meeting for lunch!
(To be continued.)
