From a low angle

Ok I know today is Easter Sunday for the Greek Orthodox and I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Easter Sunday!
But in Our Beautiful World we have another theme for today.
The prompt was chosen by dear Wendy of Love a Rustic Life  and is
From a low angle.
That was the first time that I went out to take pictures for the prompt. I have taken photos
                                                                    from a low angle
before but it was easier to go out and take some more rather than search all of my photograph files for my old ones.
My favourite was a dandellion photo from a low angle years ago!If I find it I will add it here.
On Wednesday evening we went out to walk Barca at the seafront and I tried to take some low angle photos. Here they are!
The sky from low angle.
 A plane coming in.
 Feeling like an insect.
I saw the insect in this one when I uploaded the photos.

 The sunset behind the poppy.

The olive tree from a low angle.

Remember that movie "Honey I shrunk the kids!" ?Something like that!

I know these last two photos are not from a low angle but the sun was low in the horizon and it was so beautiufl so I had to add them too.
Enjoy Easter Sunday!

Beautiful moments before and during a workshop!

Last week I bought this pot of daisies and really loved them.
I took some sunset photos and this guy was really in front of the best views!
I spotted a tiny butterfly!
I made some chocolate fudge using this recipe. The caramel candy didn't soften that well in it so I would avoid it next time but it was such a delicious and easy thing to make.

I ate some jelly candy. Look at those colours!
I attended a shadow puppetry performance presented by Agapios Agapiou and Odysseas Kanlis.

And I attended one more great workshop by Anna of inmycloset at her cozy kitchen!
We made lovely fabric covered boxes!

Here are my boxes, one I made there and one at home!
Of course we enjoyed great food again like Efi's lemon tartelettes.
And my red pepper and dill muffins.
And there was a birthday girl again and Vaso of Metodaxtylostovaso made an amazing birthday cake!
Last but not least I received a lovely gift from Christina of Christie's trees. Isn't it a wonderful wire tree on a gorgeous slag glass piece? Here with all my green vases.

Thank you so much Christina! And Anna for one more great workshop!

Spotting beauty around me.

With all the things happening around us in the world sometimes I wonder if people are interested in seeing beautiful photos of flowers, blue seas and skies that I post in my blog. But really I can't stand this ugliness in the world either being the toll of deaths in Nepal after that huge earthquake or the sickening massacre of a little child by her own parent in my own country.
Seeing the beauty around me simply makes me forget for a while the ugliness and appreciate the good things I have in my life. And all of us should try this.
These last weeks when I go to school I see and smell this beautiful wisteria.
The Art teacher at school makes beautiful paper poppies for a Mother's Day celebration at school.
 Aren't her papers lovely?
I bought a couple of small plants for my balcony.

The sunsets lately are gorgeous!

A pupil treated us to these lovely sweets for her birthday.
My crafty group friends and I had coffee one beautiful afternoon.
 At last a cold coffee!
Hubby and I walked the seafront many a time.
Barca was always with us!
And we met lots of nice dogs like our friend Chech! He is huge but he is such a good boy!
More about last week and especially the long weekend and May 1st in the next blogpost.
