This month the theme is dragons. You can read her post here and can link up if you want.
I have never stitched anything with dragons so I had to look up and finally made this little Christmas dragon ornament.
I am not very good at ornament making but I tried and used a vintage trim.
The pattern is the December 2015 Holiday Treat from J.L.Aikman-Smith of Dragon Dreams Inc.
You can find them on facebook and download lots of dragon patterns for free and for personal use.
Here you can download the one I stitched.
It has great detailed illustration and lots of little pockets to open and discover.
Finally the giveaway pattern "All Dolled Up" by Little House Needleworks of my previous Gifted Gorgeousness post goes to Diane of Lavender Dreams
And along Diane will receive the January stitched piece I made for Let the people choose January theme birthstones. Diane you were the only one with a January birthday that claimed it and also the only one who claimed the pattern so I didn't even have to make a choice. Please send me your full name and address. You will only have to wait a bit till I turn the stitched piece into an ornament, unless you want it like that to make it yourself or to frame it. Please let me know.
No giveaway in this blogpost as the little dragon ornament is going as a gift to a stitchy friend who loves dragons!
Thank you all, see you soon in my GG post and the Advent calendar post. I am on the 15th of December but if you want to follow along go to Jo's blog for the Advent calendar is on already.
Also and by the way those of you who commented on my Paperless Post blog post will receive a virtual Christmas card from me if your e-mail is connected to your comment profile.

What a cute ornament of course since it has a dragon. I have stitched one Dragon Dreams but some of her dragons just don't make it through my very strict check list for if I like it or not. This one is cute though. The book looks neat and fun to look through too. Congrats Diane on the giveaway!
Thanks for taking part in the SAL this month. I love Dragon Dreams and I am so pleased you found the perfect design for the SAL.
We had that Dragon book too, the English version, but my son gave a lot of his old books to the school fair to raise money for the swimming pool. I hope they got a good price for it!
Such an adorable dragon finish!
Ωραίος ο δράκος και το ρέλιασμα πολύ όμορφο !!!
Ωραία δουλειά !!!
You have stitched and made a really cute Dragon ornament for this month's post, and one relevant to the time of year too. And I love the trim you've used to finish it off. Perfect!
I also admire that you've taken a different approach to the challenge and are stitching something new each month. I'll be interested to see what you come up with for next month's 'New Start' theme! :)
Great dragon finish, congratulations Diane on being your giveaway winner.
I can't believe I haven't seen that one before! You did a beautiful job finishing it, it looks great.
That is a fun book, I have it in sitting on my dragon shelf!
Cute dragon ornament!
This is a very cute dragon ornament! I like the vintage trim a lot and it matches so well! The book is really awesome too. You are right, they are very expensive here. Congrats to Diane on her win! \:D/
Λατρεύω το γλυκό δράκο σου, Αριάδνη μου. Πανέμορφος είναι. Πολλά φιλιά, φίλη μου.
What a beautiful finish, Ariadne. I think Dragon Dreams Inc designs are delightful and have stitched a number of them over the years but I haven't done any for some time now.
